1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how SIA Qhosting uses cookies and similar technologies on Opernt (opernt.com) and related subdomains.
For information about how we process personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function, remember preferences, and maintain secure sessions. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage.
3. Cookies we use today
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service, and Google Ads cookies to measure whether a visit from our advertisements leads to a conversion, such as creating an account.
| Name / type | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase auth cookies | Supabase | Maintain your login session and authenticate requests to the Service. | Session / as configured by auth provider |
| opernt_onboarding_skipped | Opernt | Remember whether you chose to skip onboarding so we do not prompt you again. | Persistent |
| _gcl_au | Measures ad conversions. Stores an identifier so Google Ads can tell whether someone who clicked an ad later took an action on the site. | 90 days | |
| _gcl_aw | Stores the Google click identifier from an ad click so a conversion can be attributed to that click. | 90 days | |
| _gcl_gs | Stores Google Ads click information used to attribute a conversion. | 90 days | |
| _gcl_gb | Stores a click identifier used when a Google ad click does not include a standard click ID. | 90 days | |
| _gcl_ag | Stores Google Ads click information used to attribute a conversion. | 90 days | |
| _gcl_dc | Stores a display-campaign click identifier so a conversion can be attributed to that click. | 90 days |
The provider of these Google Ads cookies is Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). They are set on opernt.com. Information collected through them may be transferred to the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google states that cookies used to measure conversion rates are not used to personalise ads.
4. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are used based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional Service, and where applicable to perform our contract with you. Under EU ePrivacy rules, consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary.
Google Ads conversion cookies are not strictly necessary. We place them only after you consent. You can refuse or withdraw that consent at any time, and you can block or delete these cookies in your browser. The Service still works if you refuse them.
5. How to control cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Service — including sign-in — may not work correctly.
To sign out and clear your session cookies, use the sign-out function in the Service or clear site data for opernt.com in your browser.
6. Third-party cookies
Our authentication and hosting infrastructure may set cookies required to deliver the Service. Google sets the conversion cookies listed in section 3. Google is the provider, and data from those cookies may be transferred to the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. When measuring a conversion, Google may also set related cookies on its own domains, including google.com, googleadservices.com and doubleclick.net.
7. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. Material updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
